Multiplications by 5
- 5 × 1 = 5
- 5 × 2 = 10
- 5 × 3 = 15
- 5 × 4 = 20
- 5 × 5 = 25
- 5 × 6 = 30
- 5 × 7 = 35
- 5 × 8 = 40
- 5 × 9 = 45
- 5 × 10 = 50
Divisions by 5
- 5 ÷ 5 = 1
- 10 ÷ 5 = 2
- 15 ÷ 5 = 3
- 20 ÷ 5 = 4
- 25 ÷ 5 = 5
- 30 ÷ 5 = 6
- 35 ÷ 5 = 7
- 40 ÷ 5 = 8

A handy trick
All the answers end in 0 or 5. It is also half of the 10 times table: 5 × 8 is half of 80.
